I'm completing 1500 squats in November for Young Lives vs Cancer

I'm taking on the 1500 Squats in November Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

£20 could pay for a coat for a child or young person with cancer, to help keep them warm through the winter months when they really feel the cold due to treatment

£60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.

We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Day 5 - 250 squats done!

Tuesday 5th Nov
Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you so much to all of you who have supported me and donate so generously already. There are 1700+ people signed up for this challenge and I'm at number 8 on the leaderboard which is incredible! Your encouragement is keeping me going when my thighs would prefer me to sit down so it's very much appreciated.
A quick recap as to why I'm doing this - on my last visit to the hospital with my dad when he was put on end-of-life care, he showed more concern for the young woman in the waiting room who had clearly been undergoing chemotherapy than he did for himself, which touched me greatly and was a real measure of the man he was. Since we lost him - just 18 days after that hospital visit - I have wanted to do a charity challenge in his memory, so when I saw this one for young people on Facebook, I knew it was the one he would want me to do.
I know he's up there cheering me on with all of you and on behalf of myself and him, please give whatever you can to this great cause. Thank you all so much and here's to the next 1250 squats!
