I'm taking on 10,000 steps every day in February for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’m taking on 10,000 steps every day in February for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Thank you for your support.

🚶‍♀️ 10K Steps a Day: Walking with Purpose This February 💛

Tuesday 27th Jan
Every year, I try to do something to give back. Fundraising, supporting charities, getting involved where I can — it’s always been close to my heart
.
Last year though… I’ll be honest, I missed it.
Life took me travelling around the world 🌍, hopping from place to place, and while it was incredible, my usual charity challenge slipped through the cracks.

So this year, I’m getting back into the spirit of things - and doing it in a way that feels very me.

💥 The Challenge
Throughout February, I’m committing to 10,000 steps every single day in support of Young Lives vs Cancer.
If you know me, you know this challenge is right up my street. I love walking 🚶‍♀️, exploring new places, getting lost down side roads, and clocking up steps without even realising. Turning something I already love into something that can help young people and their families felt like a no-brainer.

😅 A Funny (and Slightly Sneaky) Head Start…
Here’s the funny part - I unknowingly had my Fitbit already connected to my fundraising account 🙈
So there are way more steps logged than I’ve officially started with!

But don’t worry… those steps aren’t going to waste. I’ll simply be adding them onto my February total, meaning even more steps, even more impact, and even more motivation to keep going 💪✨

💛 Why Young Lives vs Cancer?
Because when cancer affects a young person, it doesn’t just affect them - it impacts their whole world. This charity provides vital support, guidance, and care to young people and their families when they need it most.

If my daily walks - whether rain-soaked, sunshine-filled, or slightly grumbly on tired legs 😅 - can help make that journey a little easier for someone else, then every step is worth it.

🙏 How You Can Help
If you’re able to:
💷 Donate (any amount genuinely makes a difference)
🚶‍♀️ Or even join me and add a few extra steps to your own day

…I’d be so grateful.
Let’s turn everyday movement into something powerful.

Here’s to fresh air, comfy trainers, sore calves, and walking for a cause that truly matters 💛✨

Thank you for supporting, cheering me on, and helping me make February count.
