I'm completing 1500 squats in November for Young Lives vs Cancer

Olly and I are taking on the 1500 Squats in November Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer to support children and young people with cancer.

Our friends Dan and Hadi lost their beautiful daughter Grace to cancer this year, something we never want to go through in our lives.

When they moved to Bristol in April this year for Grace to have her bone marrow transplant they were given the address of a lovely accommodation, 10 mins walk from the hospital, and told they were expecting them.

The house was run by Young Lives vs Cancer and was perfectly set up for stressed parents like themselves.  It’s got kitchens, laundries, living rooms, comfy bedrooms and a beautiful garden. The staff were amazing, and when Grace died they were treated with such love and compassion with no hurry to vacate the accommodation whilst they worked out which way was up.

In November myself and Oliver will be joining a challenge to do 1500 squats, raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer. 

The thought of 1500 squats terrifies me but 50 a day I’m sure we can do for such a great charity.
