Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Young lives vs cancer

Monday 24th Mar
No child should suffer. No family should have to worry. Every child deserves to play, laugh, and live a happy, healthy life.

That’s why Kayda and I, assisting her, are fundraising for **Young Lives vs Cancer**—to help children and families facing the unimaginable.

Childhood should be about adventures, scraped knees from playground games, and bedtime stories filled with dreams—not hospital stays and difficult treatments. But for too many children and families, cancer takes away those simple joys, replacing them with fear, uncertainty, and financial strain.

**Why We’re Fundraising**
We believe no family should have to face childhood cancer alone. Young Lives vs Cancer provides vital support—helping families with emotional care, financial aid, and practical resources so they can focus on what truly matters: their child’s health and happiness. Whether it’s a place to stay near the hospital, grants to ease the burden of travel costs, or simply someone to talk to who understands, this charity makes a real difference.
