Kid's Spring Challenge

We're taking on the Kid's Spring Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Spring Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer by walking a mile every day!!

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Day 6 - Phoebe’s Party

Gullivers World was today’s location. 7 wonderful hours running round the theme park and enjoying every second. Over 10,000 steps clocked. Lots more miles ticked off!

Day 5 - Hot Hot Hot

Sunday 13th Apr
With temperatures reaching over 19 the kids ran wild at the local park clocking lots of miles in. Celebrating in style with a picnic

Day 4 - Cutwood Park

Sunday 13th Apr
All kids pretty much recovered meant a walk to Cutwood Park. Two hours later several miles were completed 🙌🏽💙

Day 3 - The Mums

Sunday 13th Apr
Eurgh!! We got hit with the dreaded lurgy and spent the day trying to keep our water down!! The Mums bravely took on a spin class to make up the miles for the kids smashing in 6500 steps in 30 minutes!!

Day 2

Sunday 13th Apr
Today’s walk was done with our own families. Mayzie & Eevie walked around Cutwood with their Mum & Grandma. Josh & Phoebe did a late evening stroll around the park with their Mum & Zac. Logan and his Dad walked around the mini golf course along with the garden centre and car park which was exactly a mile!!

Day 1 - Worden Park

Monday 7th Apr
Today we ventured off to Worden Park to kick start our minimum 1 mile a day walk! We did far more than a mile but forgot to set the map 🤦🏽‍♀️
