I'm running 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Run 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be running 100 miles in October to support children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £26 could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

10th Anniveraary Challenege

This October is the 10th Anniversary of Callums ALL diagnosis and the start of a devastating journey for our family. 

In honour of Cals epic fight I will  we running 100 miles for Young Lives v’s Cancer.  this represents 10 miles for each year since Callums diagnosis in October 2015. 

Each year since Callum passed I have tried to take on a challenge I think he would have been up for and raise funds in his name

It is hard to accept that a decade has gone by since we received the devastating news and saw our son turn from a carefree teen to the incredible young man who challenged cancer to the fight of his life.  Throughout our journey Young Lives vs Cancer was by our side supporting us through the darkest times and celebrating the little wins.

The charity helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. 

I know money can be tight and contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £1 or £500). Every penny helps these incredibly resilient young people during a period of their lives which they should not have to.
