My Updates

Holiday activities

Tuesday 26th Aug
I have been doing lots and lots of swimming on holiday in Quesada Spain, as well as walking down to the local town with all of the family to play music bingo and have some really nice food. It has been very hot but we have still done at least a mile a day. Last Tuesday we walked around the mall and I did just over 3 miles. Then yesterday (Monday 25th) we walked to the local town and had some lovely Spain bread and aioli. The walk took another 3.4 miles. Then again down to the town to watch the Liverpool match.

Nan’s birthday party

Tuesday 26th Aug
I danced all night at my nans 80th birthday party! We had already been for a walk in the morning but all the dancing with my family definitely took me over my mile on the 16th

Birthday Shopping

Thursday 14th Aug
It was Dads birthday on the 12th and because we go on holiday in a few days they were going for some last minute holiday clothes. So I thought I will join them to get a few miles in because my mom can shop 😅
I got another 4 miles towards my challenge!

The Great Climb

Wednesday 6th Aug
I have mainly been doing walks around where I live but today I took on a challenge - Climbing the Great Orme!
We parked by the little Orme and walked along the promenade to where the start of the summit began. It was very steep and I thought maybe I had taken on too big a challenge!
Today’s theme was animals - there were lots of sheep so I ticked that box. The wind was blowing strong but I kept going and made it to the very top.
My reward was a delicious piece of cake and pop. Then we had to walk back down. Which was easier but got me lots more steps to add to my challenge.
Finishing the day with a very rewarding 9.3 miles!!!!
