When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, lives are turned upside down. As a friend, family member, colleague or classmate, you suddenly feel completely helpless.

Showing you care will look different to everyone, so we’re here to help you find what works for you with 3 fundraising challenges to choose from.

Say "I'm Here For You" by raising money to support young cancer patients

Complete your challenge - Get Moving, Get Together or Give It Up!

We don’t expect you to be the next Mary Berry or give Mo Farah a run for his money, but taking on a fundraising challenge should be just that – a challenge. Whether you choose to GET MOVING, GET TOGETHER or GIVE IT UP, we have the challenge for you.

Take on a 30, 60 or 90 mile challenge and cover the miles across a month.

Pick your distance and you're ready to go. Whether you walk, run, cycle, roll or swim. However you cover your miles, we're right behind you.

£22 could pay for a Young Lives vs Cancer Big Bag, given to families when their child is first diagnosed with cancer. They contain items such as toiletries, a teddy, thermal mug, Young Lives vs Cancer information booklet and much more.

£38 could pay for a family to stay overnight in one of our Homes from Home, providing free, comfortable accommodation close to hospitals so families can stay together during treatment.

£50 could fund vital resources and information for young people who are diagnosed, to help them and their families understand and navigate their diagnosis and its impact.

£100 could fund a financial grant to ensure families facing money worries can pay for basics like food and petrol to get to and from treatment.

£184 could pay for a Young Lives vs Cancer Social Worker for a day. They speak to children and young people with cancer and their families, soon after diagnosis. They’re there every step of the way and help them to cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer, through treatment and beyond.
