The best way to track your distance is with a fitness tracker watch. You can sync your fitness tracker to your fundraising page under "My Fitness Activity," or manually add your distance there. Additionally, your fundraising pack includes a printed tracker to help you monitor your progress throughout the month.

You can also join our Wetherspoon Wag n Walk Strava Club

About Fundraising

How do I collect donations?

add remove

You will automatically be set up with a fundraiser when you sign up. You can also select to set up a Facebook Fundraiser and connect it to your main fundraising page. These are the easiest ways to collect your sponsorship. All donations come directly to Young Lives vs Cancer, so you don’t have to worry about admin or bank transfers.

You can also fundraise offline. You will also receive a Young Lives vs Cancer sponsorship form with your fundraising pack. This can also be found in the Resources tab. To pay this in, deposit your sponsorship raised into your own bank account and then pay it directly onto your fundraising page. Alternatively, there are handy instructions on the form of how to pay this in on our website. Please do not pay cash in through the pub as it will be difficult to track it to this event.

Is there a fundraising target?

add remove

We simply just ask everyone to raise as much as they can to support children and young people with cancer. The target is automatically set to £150, as people with higher targets on their pages raise the most.  However, there is no commitment to raise this.

How do I change my fundraising target?

add remove

When logged in to your fundraising page, you can click on Edit my page, and then change the fundraising target.

They will be set at £150, however, this is just a suggestion and you are more than welcome to change this to what you would like to achieve.

If you reach your target, we suggest going in and upping the target on your page. This encourages people to keep donating to help you hit your target.
