We're taking on the Walk 80 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.
Throughout September, a group of women who I unexpectedly met in the walls of NICU John Radcliffe are coming together to walk allll the miles and raise awareness.
Us NICU Mums met in October 2019 whilst being in John Radcliffe with our extremely premature babies. 5 years on, we are all still in touch; forever supporting one another with out little ones, going on play dates, sharing milestones etc.
Sadly this year, one of the littles girls in our NICU bubble has been diagnosed with a brain tumour, which they’ve recently found out is cancerous but despite everything she’s going through with Chemo, Radiotherapy, Physio etc Alicezia is still smiling, soldiering on, being her sassy self and doing what our micropreemies do best - FIGHTING EVERYDAY AND NOT GIVING UP 💪🏽
