I’m taking on 5k a Day in June for Young Lives vs Cancer.
Last September, my younger brother was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 16. At this age, his main concerns should have been the usual ups and downs of being a teenager. Instead, he has had to face cancer treatment and huge changes to his everyday life.
I'm taking part in this challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity which recognises the unique challenges facing young people with cancer and provides incredible support for them and their families.
I’ll be completing 5k every day from 1st to 30th June to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
