I’m running 100 Miles in October for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I’ll be running 100 Miles in October, from the 1st to the 31st, to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. With practical and emotional support. With someone always there. A social worker that gets it.
With places to stay near hospitals. With campaigning to make health, welfare and social care work better. To champion, to problem solve and bring about change.
Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
Thank you for your support.

🏃♀️ 100 MILES FOR HARRIET ❤️
Wednesday 2nd SepThis October, I’m taking on something I never imagined I’d be doing — running 100 miles in one month to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer.
And I’m doing every single mile for my daughter, Harriet. ❤️
Harriet was just 4 years old when our world changed forever. In November 2023, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Since then, our lives have been filled with things no parent should ever have to experience. Chemotherapy. Around 150 doses of treatment. Operations. Infusions. HDU stays. Endless hospital appointments. Time away from school and from the life a little girl should be living.
And yet, somehow, through all of this…
Harriet still smiles. ❤️
She still laughs. She still gives us attitude. She is still our funny, loving, incredibly strong little girl.
But behind those smiles is a reality that most people never see.
The hospital appointments.
The worry while waiting for scans.
The sleepless nights.
The fear of what the future might bring.
Watching your child struggle to do things other children take for granted.
And this is where charities like Young Lives vs Cancer become so incredibly important.
They support children and families through some of the darkest moments imaginable — not just medically, but emotionally, practically and financially too.
So in October, whenever my legs hurt, whenever I don't want to get out for another run, whenever 100 miles feels completely ridiculous 😂…
I'll think of Harriet.
I'll think of every child fighting cancer.
I'll think of every parent sitting beside a hospital bed.
I'll think of every family whose entire world has been turned upside down by cancer.
And I'll keep going.
100 miles. One month. One very important reason. ❤️
If you can spare even £1, £5 or £10, it would mean more to our family than I can put into words. Every donation will help Young Lives vs Cancer continue supporting families like ours.
Thank you for supporting me, supporting Harriet, and supporting all the other children and families facing childhood cancer. ❤️
For Harriet. For every child. For every family.
100 miles starts here. 🏃♀️❤️
