Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

8/4/26 another walk with friends

Wednesday 8th Apr
Today we met up with some more friends and did another 3.10 miles , before we got an ice cream 🍦 that’s a 24.26 miles in total 👏 absolutely over the moon with how well Jessica & Alfie have done with there walking 💛

6/4/26 Easter Monday walk

Wednesday 8th Apr
Today we met up with Jessica & Alfie’s grandad grumpy & Granny Juju we ended up walking 4.31 miles and a quick pit stop at the pub for a drink & crisps that’s 21.16 miles in total 💛 absolutely amazing 

5.4.26 - Blackpool zoo walk

While on our weekend away we had a trip around the zoo that’s 3.06 miles that’s a total of 16.85 miles in total 💛

3/4/26 Blackpool walk

We had a short break to Blackpool so we ended up having a quick walk up & down that’s another 2.46miles so 13.79 in total 💛

2/4/26 walk with friends

Today Jessica & Alfie went for a walk with there auntie & friends another 3.60 miles that’s 11.33 miles in total 👏 💛

Walk & catch up with Nana & cousin

Today Jessica & Alfie met up with their youngest cousin & Nana and did another 1.62 miles this is 7.73 miles in total 👏 💛

30/3/26 a walk up the the pub in the next village

We decided to have a walk to the pub in the next village, to find when we got there the pub was closed 😅 another 3.09miles today by Jessica & Alfie that’s 6.11 miles in 3 days covered 👏

A massive thank you to everyone who has sponsored Jessica & Alfie to walk 14 miles over the half term. They have not only reached their target, they have nearly doubled it!! Thank you again 💚

Monday 9th Mar
Jessica & Alfie’s school are taking part in a 40-Day Lent Generosity Challenge, and we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to help children fighting cancer. ❤️

To support this, Jessica & Alfie will be walking 14 miles over the half term to raise money to help children with cancer and support their families during such a difficult time.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Even 50p would be hugely appreciated and will go towards helping these brave children and their families.
