5k a Day in June 2026

I’m taking on 5k a Day in June for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be completing 5k every day from 1st to 30th June to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Joel Cheetham 5k a day in June

Sunday 31st May
This June, I’m taking on the challenge of running at least 5K every single day to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer.

My motivation comes from a close family friend’s son, Ethan Rainford, aged 16, who is currently undergoing treatment at The Christie. Watching him face every challenge with such strength and determination—alongside the incredible support of his family and friends—has been truly inspiring. He’s a real warrior.

This is my small way of trying to give something back and support the amazing work Young Lives vs Cancer do for children and families facing incredibly difficult times.

Please donate if you can, and help make a real difference for Ethan and families like his ❤️
