We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause?

We're taking on the Kids' Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer, and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Join me in supporting a good cause. Your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your support.

Little walk big scoot

Thursday 30th Jul
I walked the paths.
Controlled the traffic.
They scootered and raced.
At a much faster pace.
We saw the cows, with their babies.
Hearing them fart or snore
A moment full of maybes.
We giggled and continued our journey.
Stopped off at the book library.
An elderly gentleman stopped to ask about Molly.
What do you feed her, shes jumping around, very jolly.
It was nice to chat.
A connection at that.
The kids scootered up the hill
But came down much faster
I was worried about the cars
Remember to Breathe,
You take care of them,
For always and forever after.

29th July - walk with H

Wednesday 29th Jul
We took Molly for a walk this morning.
H & I.
We got chatting.
Just about life.
It’s nice spending time.
Away from distraction.
Hold a conversation.
That doesn’t include a bribe.
Or a tone that’s firm.
Just so we can really get to know.
Get to know each other.
As a friend and not just his mother.
We completed 1.6 miles.
We saw a deer with its baby.
They leapt across our path.
Just another special memory to hold.
Before you spread your wings.
And my arms go cold.

The boys don’t know

Friday 17th Jul
I want the boys to take part in raising money to help other children. They will learn more about the charity and how they can help.
