I’m taking on 5k a Day in June for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I’ll be completing 5k every day from 1st to 30th June to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
Thank you for your support.

5K A Day Challenge: Week One
Sunday 7th JunOne week down and the challenge is well underway.
The original target was simple enough: complete at least 5K every day throughout June in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer.
So far, I've mixed things up with a combination of running, jogging, walking and cycling, and I'm currently sitting at 45 kilometres completed after the first week.
Some days have felt easier than others. My calves and lower back have certainly had a few opinions on the matter, and fitting the miles around work, family life and gym sessions has taken a bit of planning. But that's kind of the point.
This challenge was never about breaking records. It's about getting moving, improving my health and raising money for a fantastic cause.
There's still a long way to go, but the first week is in the bag and the challenge continues tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared a post or simply followed along. Your support genuinely makes a difference.
45km down. Plenty more to come. :-)
