Want to join us in supporting a good cause?

We're taking on the Kids' Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer, and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Join me in supporting a good cause. Your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your support.

Little Steps, Big Difference 🤍 Our Toddler Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer

Monday 20th Jul
In August we’re starting something small but meaningful. As a family, we’ve decided to take on a simple challenge:1 mile of movement a day together.

Now, when I say “mile,” I don’t mean a straight, steady walk (because anyone with a 2 year old knows that’s impossible!). I mean little steps, bursts of energy, dancing in the living room, trips to the park, and lots of exploring.

Some days it might look like:
- A slow wander around the neighbourhood
- Chasing bubbles in the garden
- Climbing, sliding, and running at the park
- A spontaneous kitchen dance party

It won’t be perfect. It won’t be consistent.
But it will be real and it will be ours.

Why We’re Doing This

We’re doing this in support of Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that supports children and young people facing cancer, along with their families.

When a child is diagnosed, it affects everything not just their health, but their entire world. Young Lives vs Cancer helps families navigate the emotional, practical, and financial challenges that come with it, offering support every step of the way.

They provide specialist social workers in hospitals, help families stay close during treatment, and make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

Why a Toddler Challenge?

Because even the smallest steps can make a difference.

At 2 years old, this challenge isn’t about distance or achievement it’s about taking part. It’s about building kindness, awareness, and doing something together as a family.

It’s about showing that:

- You don’t have to run marathons to help
- You don’t have to be older to make a difference
- And every little bit of effort matters

Our Goal

Over the next 30 days, we’re aiming to complete:

- 1 mile of movement a day (in our own toddler way!)
- Share our journey along the way
- Raise awareness (and hopefully some funds) for an incredible cause

We’re calling it:
“Little Steps for Young Lives vs Cancer” 💙

How You Can Support

If you’d like to support us, you can:

- Donate (every little helps 🤍)
- Cheer us on as we go

Or even better join in your own way.
Take a walk, get outside, dance with your kids and think of the families going through so much more.

Because while our miles are small the reason behind them is not.

Thank you for being part of this with us 🤍
