I’m taking on 5k a Day in June for Young Lives vs Cancer.

This June, I’m taking on 5km a day for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Every day, 12 children and young people in the UK are told they have cancer. It’s something no family should have to face alone.

That’s why I’m doing this challenge, to help raise funds and support for young people and their families during one of the toughest times in their lives.

I’ve also recently become a blood donor and officially joined the lifesaver community. It reminded me that even small acts of kindness can have a huge impact when people come together to help others.

Just £26 can fund an hour of support from a specialist social worker, helping families get the guidance and care they need.

All money raised goes directly to Young Lives vs Cancer and helps fund practical and emotional support for children and young people with cancer and their families. This includes specialist social workers, financial grants, and accommodation close to hospitals when families need to stay near treatment.

If you can donate, even a small amount makes a difference. And if you can’t, sharing this post means just as much.

Thank you to everyone supporting me and this amazing cause ❤️

Small actions change more than we think

Tuesday 9th Jun

Helping others doesn’t always mean doing something big. Most of the time, it’s the small things that matter the most.

I realised that recently after donating blood for the first time. It felt simple, almost ordinary, but it can genuinely help someone you will never meet.

And maybe that’s the point. Small actions, when repeated, become something meaningful.

That’s why I like the idea behind this 5km challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. Nothing dramatic, just showing up every day and doing something that adds up over time.

Little by little, step by step, things change. Consistency creates impact. Quiet effort still counts.

If more people did what they could, when they could, the world would already look different.

Sometimes the smallest gesture carries the biggest meaning.
