Support my Swim 10k Challenge
I'm taking on the Swim 10k Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be swimming 10k in the great outdoors between 1 - 31 July.
Join me in supporting a good cause and your contribution will make a big impact to children and young people with cancer. Whether you donate £5 or £500, every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
Children and young people with cancer are facing a hard summer. Instead of making precious memories with their family, treatment means that they’re facing weeks spent many miles from home.
But cancer doesn’t have to mean families are torn apart. That special moments are lost. You can keep families together this winter.
£26 could pay for an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer social worker, so that children and young people with cancer, and their families, get the right care and support at the right time
£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Friday 18th Jul A really lively early morning swim completed on wedneday morning before work

Sunday 13th Jul Couldn’t resist getting in the open water after work on Friday . Was a beautiful hot day and what a lovely change to do a bit more towards my goal !! Feel like I am getting there !! X Share
Third swim 6,300 m achieved to date
Sunday 13th Jul Completed my third swim on the 9/7/25 The company and support of my youngest son was lovely and completed another 1,200 meters this morning before work !

Monday 7th Jul Just to update that last Sat early morning completed a second swim and made a real effort swimming 3,300meters -
