I’m taking on 5k a Day in June for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be completing 5k every day from 1st to 30th June to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Thank you for your support.

❤️ I Get to Choose My Challenge. Children With Cancer Don't.

Hi everyone,
Today I begin a challenge that will push me physically and mentally. Between now and 30th June, I'll be running 5K every single day, finishing the month by taking part in the Race for Life.
There will be days when my legs are tired, when the weather isn't on my side, and when finding the motivation to lace up my trainers feels difficult.
But the truth is, this is a challenge I've chosen.
Every day, children and young people across the UK wake up facing a challenge they never chose. Cancer doesn't ask for permission. It doesn't care about plans, dreams, birthdays, school, friendships, or family life. In a single moment, everything can change.
While I'm counting kilometres, some families are counting hospital visits.
While I'm pushing through a difficult run, young people are pushing through treatment, uncertainty, and fear.
While I can stop whenever I want, they don't have that choice.
That's why I'm raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer.
This incredible charity helps children and young people facing cancer, along with their families, providing practical support, emotional care, and a lifeline when life feels at its most overwhelming.
My challenge is small compared to the battles many of these young people face every single day. But if every step I take can help raise awareness, support a family, or make even the smallest difference, then every mile will be worth it.
If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps Young Lives vs Cancer continue their vital work and reminds families facing the toughest days that they are not alone.
Thank you for your support, your encouragement, and for being part of this journey with me.
For the next 30 days, every step is for them. ❤️
