5K a Day for Children’s Cancer
Wednesday 27th MayThroughout June, I’ll be challenging myself to run 5K every single day to raise money for children battling cancer.
Running has become something really important to me. It clears my head, pushes me mentally and physically, and reminds me how lucky I am to be able to get up and move every day. But while I’m running by choice, many children are facing battles they never chose.
No child should have to spend their days in hospitals, going through treatment, or missing out on the simple things that make childhood special. If this challenge can help raise money to support children and their families, make life a little easier, or bring a smile to a child going through tough times, then every mile will be worth it.
There will definitely be hard days, sore legs, and moments where I’ll want to stop, but this challenge is bigger than me. I want to push myself for a cause that truly matters and hopefully make even the smallest difference to children’s lives.
