We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause?

We're taking on the Kids' Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer, and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Join me in supporting a good cause. Your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your support.

Mabel’s Summer Challenge

Thursday 27th Aug
When Mabel was diagnosed with Wilms cancer when she was just three years old, Young Lives vs Cancer supported the family throughout whilst she underwent life saving surgery and treatment. Since Mabel's recovery her mum, Rachael, has been working with the YLvC campaign for changes to help families with the financial burden they're faced with when having a child diagnosed with cancer. YLVC have recently secured a £10 million travel fund, and they continue to fight to help families receive Child DLA from day one of a cancer diagnosis, and bereavement allowance for parents whose child loses their battle to cancer. This summer Mabel, now 6 years old, will complete one mile YOUNG LIVES each day raising money for YLvC. Mabel and her friends pictured below VS CANCER left to right: Nell, Etta and Rupert Lovatt (Year 5); Ameila (Year 1) and Jaiya (F1) Bajaj; Wesley (Year 1) and Dexter (Year 4) Morris; Bella (Year 1), Evie (Year 6) and Jasper (Year 3) Green; Chloe (Year 1) and Hannah (Year 4) Roberts. They will walk, run, cycle and scoot throughout the month of August. You can donate to their fundraising page here: https://fundraise.younglivesvscancer.org.uk/fundraisers/abbey gatesmovers. And if you see them out and about please show them your support and wave them on!
