My target 100 mi

I’m running 100 Miles in October for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be running 100 Miles in October, from the 1st to the 31st, to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. With practical and emotional support. With someone always there. A social worker that gets it.
With places to stay near hospitals. With campaigning to make health, welfare and social care work better. To champion, to problem solve and bring about change.

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Thank you for your support.

❤️ 100 miles for my nephew ❤️

In October, I’ll be taking on the 100 miles in October challenge and this year, this charity means more to me and my family than I could ever have imagined.

At the beginning of this month, my beautiful 20-year-old nephew was diagnosed with leukaemia.

It’s one of those sentences you never expect to have to say. One minute life is carrying on as normal, and the next your whole family is trying to process something that you never saw coming.

It has completely broken our hearts.

Watching someone so young, with their whole life ahead of them, suddenly have to face cancer and everything that comes with it has been incredibly difficult for all of us. There are no words that really explain the fear, worry and heartbreak that comes with seeing someone you love go through this.

It’s going to be tough, and I know there will be days when I really don’t want to get my trainers on, but whenever it feels hard, I’ll remind myself that this is nothing compared to what my nephew and so many other young people facing cancer are going through.

Young lives vs Cancer supports young people and their families through some of the hardest moments of their lives, providing practical, emotional and financial support when it’s needed most.

If you’re able to donate, even just a few pounds, it would mean so much to me and to our family. Every donation will help support young people and families facing cancer.

And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this post. It really does make a difference. ❤️

This one is for you Ethan❤️
