Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Ted’s story
Sunday 26th JulLast August, our world changed when Ted was diagnosed with lymphoma. Throughout his treatment, he faced so many challenges, and for much of the past year he relied on a wheelchair due to the effects of his treatment. It has only been in the last couple of months that he’s been able to get back on his feet.
This August, Ted is taking on a very special challenge alongside his brothers, Dylan and Rex and some close friends. Together they’ll be walking, running or cycling a mile every day throughout the month to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer.
This challenge isn’t just about fundraising. It’s also a huge personal milestone for Ted. Even though we’re in a much better place, he still has days when his muscles ache from his ongoing treatment and steroid medication. Gentle exercise is an important part of rebuilding his strength, improving his energy levels and helping him regain the muscle he lost during treatment. Every mile is a reminder of just how far he’s come.
Young Lives vs Cancer has been there for our family during the hardest time of our lives, providing invaluable support when we needed it most. They do this for so many families facing childhood cancer, helping them navigate an incredibly difficult journey that no family should have to face alone.
If you’d like to support Ted, Dylan and Rex as they take on their August challenge, we’d be so grateful. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Young Lives vs Cancer continue supporting families just like ours.
